Designed c. 1893 by James E. Ware as Halcyon Hall, Bennett College. On the verge of being demolished, this Queen Anne style former hotel is a beautiful example of architecture. Halcyon Hall was scheduled to be demolished in 2012. It is still standing, but with far more damage, in June, 2016. Signs on a chain-link fence surrounding the ruined building says "Under New Ownership". It will be demolished in 2022.
