  • Home: what a creative name!
  • Home, what a great place, located on the Key Peninsula for some 110 years now has more miles of [salt]water front than any other area/county in the state, it has also been maligned for years by Tacoma, they blamed the McKinley assassination on the residents, who had nothing to do with it, and once set out to burn the town to the ground, only a quick thinking Captain prevented it, that failing they then sued under the Comstock laws and took away their post office for allowing obscene literature to be mailed, it was the local [free thinking] newspaper, and told them to row across the bay to Lakebay for their mail, today the Lakebay Post Office stands in Home. Home has a rich history of free-thinking, and that always angered the smaller minds in Tacoma. And yet today the Tacomans are migrating out this way in ever increasing numbers and will eventually destroy the Free thinking old country ways atmosphere from within as they bring their city ways of never ending restrictions to the country.
