If they build a private golf club out here in the middle of nowhere, you know it has to be special. Opened in 1994, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. Upon opening, it was named among the 20 best golf courses in the world by Golf Magazine; as of 2013, it is ranked no. 11.
Noted for its "minimalist" design: building the course cost a tiny fraction of a typical course, because the land required very little alteration.
