A town in Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It has a population of 2,528 as of 2005. The most famous resident of Frombork was the astronomer and mathematician Nicolaus Copernicus, who lived and worked here as a canon (1512-16 and 1522-43).
