Mansion District is a neighborhood in the City of Albany, NY. It is also referred to as "Little Italy" and sometimes considered to be a part of the larger South End neighborhood. The name derives from it's proximity to the NYS Governor's mansion. The neighborhood is a fine and cohesive example of a mid-19th century urban architecture.
