POLDER TAWANG (Semarang)

This polder was built in 1998 by Public Works Deparment, located in front of Tawang railway station, formerly a park / field which is used as a public transportation terminal, where the polder has the function to solve the flood problem and rob around Tawang and Kota Lama, but since the completion until now, never functioned.
Polders should be empty, or the height of the water is lower than surrounding areas, and under conditions of flooding or tides, the water in the polder is pumped out and discharged into the river so that the area around the service to be free from standing water. The condition now is the water in the pond is always full on rain or not, shows that the polder Tawang did not function at all.
This needs to get attention from the government of Semarang, is unfortunate because they are built with expensive fees but only serves as a fishing pond
