Villa Trident at Théoule-sur-Mer, near Cannes on the French Riviera, was described by Noël Coward as being “impossibly beautiful”. Guests in the 1920s included the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and Pablo Picasso. The villa has large reception rooms, an al fresco dining loggia and seven bedrooms. There is a roof terrace for entertaining, two private beaches with boat access, an infinity pool and over an acre of garden. Villa le Trident, built in 1925 by celebrated architect Barry Dierks, became famous for its society parties and has hosted royalty and many celebrities.
