  • I was stationed there in 1984. The barracks buildings extended very deep underground which connected by tunnels to the hill 2km to the north east. The hill covers an underground communication structure which was topped by a metal cross which doubled as an antenna during WW2. In the woods behind the hill, I saw a stone brick wall poking out of the side of the hill with an opening covered by metal bars leading to a room filled with dirt.
