Littledean Tower, which sits on farmland at Ploughlands, near Maxton was for many years a well defended house owned by the Kers of Littledean, a branch of the Kers of Cessford. Built in the late 15th c, it's ruins are rapidly crumbling due to the bad Scottish weather.
