The Wine Roads excursion is a proposal to the modern traveler. Recommend selected routes that traverse the most picturesque spots of a viticultural area.

Roads of Wine found in almost all wine-producing countries. In Greece, the first attempt made by 13 winemakers of northern Greece, who in 1993 founded the Association of Wine Roads of Northern Greece under the name "Wine Roads of Northern Greece".

Today, 37 members of the Union proposed 41 wineries visited on 8 routes that cross from edge to edge Northern Greece, making stops in major vineyards in Thessaly (Rapsani and helmet), Epirus, Macedonia and Thrace. Signs show the way to vineyards and wineries.

The map filled with interesting restaurants, hostels and hotels, shops with local products and places with alternative activities, all associate members of the Wine Roads of Northern Greece that have been evaluated based on common standards and bear the corresponding pennant.
