place with historical importance, aircraft on display

One of the seven Concordes operated by British Airways, Concorde G-BOAE had its first flight in March 1977 from its factory in Filton, England to London Heathrow Airport to begin its commercial service.

Operating for British Airways and briefly under lease to Braniff Airways during its 36 year career, G-BOAE made its final revenue flight on the final day of Concorde operations in October 2003 followed less than a month later by its final flight from Heathrow to
Granley Adams Airport on November 17th, 2003.

Placed into the Experience Concorde exhibit as the centerpiece of the museum, G-BOAE can now be toured inside and out by museum patrons.
