Historic part of Kėdainiai city, urbanistic monument. Covers area of 86 hectares. Unique 17th-18th century layout remained with streets, city squares, buildings. In the 17th century Kėdainiai were governed by mighty Radvila family. Kėdainiai were planned according to European city examples. The city became cultural and religical center of protestantism, also some other confessional groups lived here.
