Originally, the lower level of this two-level building was Hills (Ames after 1999). Ames closed in 2002 and it became Sports Authority but it wasn't able to fill all the space. Sports Authority closed in mid-2016 when the chain went bust. The upper level was originally Chappell's, a Syracuse department store that The Bon-Ton bought and converted in the mid-1990s. The Bon-Ton closed in January 2016. Later that year, At Home replaced the lower level entirely, but the upper level remains empty.
