Originally known for its esparto grass and grape harvests, Lalueza's main economy is currently based on the harvesting of cereals.
The church of San Pedro Arbués is the only church of this village, and one can find valuable paintings of Fray (Brother) Manuel Balleu.
Lalueza's population has been known throughout the centuries to be an open community welcoming believers of various religions.
Note: Lalueza is the smallest Spanish village with a football team competing in the Spanish National League.
