  • Asveja (Aсвея) - the northern town in Belarus - founded over 1000 years ago. In XVIII century, the ruler of Minsk (Voejevoda) Jan Augustus Guiltzen built a palace on the shore of the lake, with 4 grand entrances, 12 doors, 52 rooms and 365 windows. The Grand Ball room had mirror walls. Now the palace is in ruins. The canals built around the palace are lined with ancient trees planted 300 years ago.The ruins of that palace are worth visiting.
