Tōkyō Somei onsen (Sakura Spa) (Tokyo)

A classy onsen with beautiful baths and a number of services, like akasuri, gamban-yoku, and a kids' room.

There is a number of indoor baths and two rotemburo baths; the spring water is in 1 indoor and 1 outdoor baths, it is salty and therefore causes itching if one has bruises - it would be a good advise to shave after you bathe and not before :)

There is a sauna, too.

Amenities provided are soap and shampoo, but towels and washclothes should be brought or rented.

There is also a restaurant on the premises, payment is settled at the time of departure (customers show their wristband keys when order).

A free shuttle bus runs to and from Sugamo station a few times an hour, though it is not really far to walk.
