Mt. Yamizo, the tallest sacred mountain in Ibaraki Prefecture, is found in the town of Daigo. Along the Kuji River that runs through it, you will find many traditional Japanese-style inns with bathing facilities. The open-air baths let you feel liberated in a setting surrounded by mountains while those located near the mountain streams offer a refreshing view of the Kuji River.
