  • I graduated from Ghulaman-e-Abbas School in 1984,attended Adamji Science College,Pakistan Navy Cadet College(PNS Rahnuma), Pakistan Naval Acadmy(PNS Rahber) and traveled around the world as a Merchant Navy Officer.I was captain of Maroon House and school hockey team and most popular student at that time.I used to live in Agra Taj Colony before moving to New York City in 1991 like amny of my class-fellows who are dispersed in the United Staes of America. No matter where I go, my love for Pakistan and Ghulaman-e-Abbas School sounds with my heart beat.These two names are sacred to me like a verse from a holy book. My teachers who are always great humans to me and their teaching always works for me as a guiding light.Whenever I talk to my school friends, school and teacher are always the topic of the conversation. I don't have the words to thanks them for their contribution in making their students future as well as polish them as good gentlemen. My respectful teachers, Pasha Sir,Shafi Sir,Amin Sir, Askari Sir, Ghulam Muhiuddin Sir, Riaz Sir, Faiz Ahmed Sir,Drawing Saeed Sir,Taslim Sir,Tassawor Raza Sir,Zahid Hashmi Sir,Kifayut Hashmi Sir,Naushad Sir,Arif Sir, Hameed Sir,Abdul Majeed Sir,Sultan Sir,Akber Khan Sir, Laiq Sir,Shaukut Chuhan Sir, Ali Mohammed Baluch Sir,Iftikhar Ahmed Sir,Abdul Khaliq Khatri Sir and many other teachers are the greatest educator and inspiring figures in my life. I'm specially thankful to then the Head Master,Honourable Iftikhar Ahmed Sir.Without his encouragement and moral and financial support(various scolarships),I would be wandering in the streets.Whenever I wore my military uniform or did something nice,I thought about my school and teachers specially Iftikhar Sir(Head Master) and salute them. May God bless every student with the kind of teachers I had.(Amen).
  • Ghulaman-Abbas School was named after His Holiness Hazrat Abbas Alamdar who was the step son of Her Holines Fatima Zehra a.s.(the beloved daughter of the prophet of God, His Holiness Hazrat Mohammad p.b.u.h.)and son of His Holiness Hazrat Ali a.s. and the brother of His Holiness Hazrat Imam Hussain a.s. Alamdar means 'Flag Bearer' and became the nick name of His Holiness Hazrat Abbas as he was the flag bearer of His Holiness Hazrat Imam Hussain a.s. in Karbala(Iraq) in the year 61 Al-hijra. The main block is called Alamdar building. Also, the student of Ghulaman-e-Abbas is called 'Alamdar' not Abbasian as some people think which is incorrect. Ghulaman-e-Abbas School is one of the ten largest public schools in Pakistn.It belongs to the Shia Asna Asheri Muslim but students from other sect also study there.Teaching of Ahl-e-Bait-e-Rasool s.a.w. is mandatory.Every year,the students get top positions at Karachi Board of Secondary Education Matric Examinations.Many time most of the position were taken by the same batch. The students of this institution are spread around the world.They are doctors,engineers,accountants,bank presidents,armed forces officers,pilots,navigators,aviators,CEOs of world organizations and financial institutions and could be found at almost in every stock market and at high designations at Fortune 500 companies. If you are in any major city of the world where there is an Imam Bargah(Hussainia) or a Mosque of Shia Ithna Ashri Muslim, you can easily find a student of Ghulaman-e-Abbas School during the Islamic month of Moharrum-ul-Haram. Ghulaman-e-Abbas School is situated at Mauripur Road & Liyari Expressway Intersection at Karachi, Pakistan.   • I have passed my matriculation from The Great "Ghulaman-e-Abbas School" and now Im doing Software Engineering.Our school is one of the best schools present in Pakistan. I really pay tribute to our great teachers especially Sir Chohan ,Sir Laiq, Sir haimid and others.They really work well .Now when I think about them I really love their techniques which I wasnt understand at that time.Because of our school really we are surviving proudly.
