The estate was founded in 1622 and it has belonged to the von Ramms, von Rosens and von Knorrings. The two-storey stylish Classicist main building was completed in the 1820s. The manor house was renovated in the beginning of the 2000s and now serves as a hotel.
By the historical distribution the manor was in Risti Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Padise Municipality in Harjumaa County.
