Built 1987-1989 by Interhotels, the GDR state hotel company, as the Hotel Dresdner Hof. Converted to Hilton in 1992. The historic Sekundogenitur building behind the hotel, facing the Elbe, contains restaurants run by the hotel and is connected to it by a skybridge.
