Zorbas Island Apartments is located between the villages Gournes and Kokkini Hani, about 15 minutes east of Heraklion , the capital of Crete. These small villages have not been invested by mass tourism, no big concrete blocks where holidaymakers feel like tinned sardines. No walking for ages before you reach a beach or a village, no, at Zorbas Island everything you need is within a few minutes walking distance. Gournes and Kokkini Hani are two small greek villages on Crete's northcoast where you can enjoy beautiful a series of sandy beaches chained along this part of the coastline, unique to Crete. The villages offer several small greek taverns, some cozy bars and lovely shops all at a 5 minute walk from our apartments.
