Andover is a city of 30,598 people (Census 2010) in Anoka County. It is a rapidly growing suburb in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. The area was first organized as Round Lake Township in 1857 and changed its name to Grow Township in 1860. The name was changed to Andover when it incorporated as a village in 1972.
