i live there for 90 days and i lost everything.i was having my own business but now i lost everything.the worst thing is this that i was innocent but they put me bhind the bars.they have no rule.

This is the shit hole that I spent 10 months of my life in. All for testing positive for marijuana.

The legal system in Dubai (all of the UAE) is backward, they follow an old colonial French law which was used in Egypt for some time before they scraped it. But it looks like the UAE still wants to cling onto colonial laws.

Well its like this, if you do test positive for THC (which is an active component of marijuana) you get sentenced for 4 years. Now you only have to test positive, which means a urine test. You don’t have to have anything on you to get busted.

So lets say you smoke in Thailand or Amsterdam while you were holidaying there. Then you decide to go back to Dubai. The UAE has the right to sentence you for 4 years even though you didn’t smoke in the UAE.

Go figure!!

I’m glad its over, I stayed on for 10.5 months and I never want to go back to the UAE. I do wanna fly over Dubai and take a shit on Sheik Mohammad’s face.
