park, interesting place
This green park is called Lambertseterparken.
Before Lambertseter was turned into a suburb, this area was used as a field for the nearby Lambertseter farm.
After that, the area was used to host radio masts for the Oslo Radio Broadcasting. During World War II, the Nazis took control over the the area, as they used the radio broadcasting equipment.
When the suburb of Lambertseter was built during the 1950's, the radio masts got gradually taken down, and the area was turned into a communal park.
