An open-air pavilion covering the Iron Springs Geyser, a mineral soda water spring (not really a geyser).

The Geyser is a drilled spring, drilled in 1910 by J. G. Hiestand, the owner of the nearby Ute Iron Spring complex. Today the Geyser is the only spring in Iron Springs that is still publicly accessible and in reasonable condition for drinking. Drinking the water is not recommended, however, due to the very high iron content.

Mentioned as a contributing resource in the NRHP listing for the Manitou Springs Historic District "multiple resource area".

The tracks of the "Dinky Trolley" streetcar line used to pass just to the rear of the pavilion, on the south side of Ruxton Creek. Its former bed is now the Intemann Trail.
