The village was founded by settlers from the village Siukh of Akhvakhsky District. In 1944, the village eliminated, and the inhabitants moved to the village and Gendergen Zandak-Ara (later renamed, respectively, in Lower and Upper Siuh) Andalalskogo area. In 1957, the newly relocated Siukh village now in the territory of the Khasavyurt district, where they formed a new village Siukh.
However this place is again (from the year of 2000) inhabited by Akhvakh-speaking people. Population about 220 (2008), but until the year of 2010 the inhabitants have relocated again to the village of Siukh in the district of Khasavyurt.
