Sat Rasta(Seven Roads):
This place is named Sat-Rasta because seven roads unite here. If you are coming from railway station, this is the first junction you will encounter. From your left the first road goes to gwaltoli, an old underbridge to gwaltoli, second road goes to balaganj, third road which is almost in front of you goes to main ghats. Fourth road goes to Meenakshi chauk, fifth goes to Nehru Park, kothi bazaar, court, collectorate etc. Sixth road or the road immediate to your right goes to Busstand and upto Meenakshi Chauk and Pipariya road.

This junction was city's buity in British time. Roads were madeup of multicolored gravels of river. There were embanking of bricks on road side and kerosine operated lamps in the center of the junction. Imagine a tonga and a motor passing through with 1-2 bullock carts around.

On sundays the sunday haat of Gupta ground extends till here and it is rushy out there.

During NavDurga Mahotsav Satrasta hosts idol of Maha Kaali. Apart form Satrasta Kaaliji are hosted in Jumerati as well.
