Industry: Embarrass is an old Finnish farm community. Many cottage businesses are located there. The old LTV mining site to the south, will soon be hosting the Polymet Mine (copper, gold, paladium and platinum) as well as the Mesabi Nugget Project, which will produce direct reduced iron nuggets.
There is one gas station and one cafe, Four Corners, as its name implies, located at the corner of state Hwy 135, and County Road 21. It is a quaint eatery with lots of character and lots of characters :).
