The First Ward is the oldest neighborhood in the City of Binghamton. It is primarily an urban residential neighborhood with retail along Clinton Street (nicknamed Antique Row) and pockets of industrial buildings along train tracks that define its southern border. Woodrow Wilson Elementary School and West Middle School serve the First Ward.
