Aside from the wall which runs along Shettleston Road for its last push west, this is the only surviving building from the old Parkhead Forge - aka Beardmore's Steel Works. In the 1980s it was used as a warehouse and depot for the SSEB (South of Scotland Electricity Board).

Today it is a self storage facility.
