Claret-gray 7-storey building with huge columns.
It was built in the mid-twentieth century and popularly was known as the "residential house management of capital construction of the Kiev of the Executive Committee," which the people of Kiev called "concrete monster". The facade of the two lower floors lined with concrete slabs and cornice is made of curved concrete blocks.
The house is designed for 30 apartments, where city officials have been accommodated in the main. Now the first floor of the "monster", loaned to entrepreneurs - there were placed elite shops and catering establishments. The upper floors, as well as in Soviet times, are residential.
Passing through the archway and into the courtyard, you should pay attention to the unusual ceiling - where you can see the fine work of artists who have depicted on it a kind of starry sky. A "monster" building ceased to be called after the road was built two giant office building at the beginning of the boulevard Lesia Ukrainka.
