Close to Castle Čretež (former Reitenburg) lies the Pule Estate, which was first mentioned in the records in 1371. "Pule" is a colloquial phrase in the local dialect of the Dolenjska region for "polje" which means acre or field. From the 17th century to 1933 the estate was bequeathed from generation to generation in the Anderlič family, which returned in 2004 to transform the historic estate into a Spa- and Wellnesshotel.
