There are two stretches of sand, one back by a rocky coastline, the other by sand dunes. A third, small cove, used by naturists, is at the far end and reached by steps hewn into the rock. There's no shade so take cover-ups. The shallow water is safe for children, whilst the more experienced swimmers can aim for the island offshore
