It is a pond, where a Saraswati Puja takes place in a pandal, made inside the pond. There is a fair also goes along with the Festival. This is a reputed Saraswati Puja Celebration in Bengal which goes with the same breath when talking of the reputed Jagadhatri puja of Chandannagore.
