The Rectory is a unique example of an 18th century Georgian Glebe House with many original and restored features, architectural cornices, friezes and details commensurate with a house of this period. Coolfin Rectory is a Protected Structure on the hillside of Kilbunny Forest enjoying uninterrupted views across its attendant lands and paddocks to the Suir River valley, Mooncoin and the South Downs to Tory Hill.
The main entrance to the property is via an 18th century plantation of trees and shrubs bordered by fine lawns and metal fences. The property has extensively restored by the Maxwell Family over the past 20 years and is a site of architectural interest.

The property has a main front entrance and a side service lane for deliveries.
