Referred to as Baisha Well, it is located in the south of Changsha City, Hunan Province, southeast of Tianxin Pavilion, and adjacent to Baisha Road. Baisha well is known as 'the first spring in Changsha' and is also one of the famous springs in the south of the Yangtze River. There are four spring holes, the wellheads are made of granite, about 67 cm long, 33 cm wide, and 70 cm deep. Baisha Ancient Well' stele. In 1964, the well was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Changsha City, and in 1983 the government allocated funds for repairs; in 1993, it was redesignated as a cultural relic protection unit at the municipal level. In 2006, Gujing was announced as a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
