The Robat-e Anushirvan Caravansary is situated at 40 Km east of Semnan. Just north-west of this caravansary is the newer Ahovan Safavid Caravansary.
There are 14 caravansarais between Semnan and Neishabour.
The two caravanseries are built in the vicinity of a qanatstructure.
