The old Kildonan Presbyterian Church was completed in 1853 and dedicated in 1854. In 1988, a new church was built immediately north of the cemetery at 2373 Main St.
This "Old Church" is only used during the summertime on special occasions since it is not heated and does not have a water supply. The Cemetery was established in 1852 about the time the construction began on the old church.
The oldest existing marker is for Marion Munroe who died Jan. 25, 1854 at the age of 7 months and 21 days.
There are about 4000 graves here.
