I, Suman kr. Roy,in the service of Govt. of West Bengal(Secretariat Service) and is now posted at Writers' Buildings.Presently my parents live in B-411, Sector II(near 'Koyla Taal' and behind Community Hall). Have lived in B-142,Sector-II during my childhood and adolescent periods for a long period. Studied in Vivekananda Vidya Mandir (passed Class X in 1991)and was and still is proud of my school and our teachers. I was born in HEC Plant Hospital/Dispensary. Emotionally attached to my birth-place and also completed my sustantial education(graduation) from Ranchi(Jagannath Nagar College, Dhurwa). Thereafter, I shifted to Kolkata and completed my Masters(in Business Administration)from the prestigious S.o.M.S,Bengal Engineering & Science University, Shibpur - presently also known as I.I.E.S.T. - an institution of national importance. I joined W.B. Govt. service after qualifying the Public Service Commission, W.B. exam. and a long-drawn P.V. Report and D.I.B. enquiry. I still remember the way we used to spend Durga Puja, kali Puja, Diwali, Holi, Chhat Puja, Aiyappa Puja, Jagadhatri Puja, etc. along with our summer vacations. I still remember my friends Sushan, Guddu, Picklu, Baptu, Bubul, Bikki, Samit, Subhashis, Cinthol, Babu, Bappa, KuntalDa, BapiDa, Rinchu, Sriram, etc. and my girl-friends RinkuDi, RimiDi, MampaDi, SampaDi, MithuDi, Nitu, Soni, Mamun, Mili, Manti,etc. I also cherish my association with my class-mates like Krishanu(Tutun), Pradipto(Raja), Somesh, Bikramaditya, Kaushik, Nodu, Debojyoti, Praveen, Amarendra, Pramod, Samir, Nagendra, Anshuman, Arijit, Sriram, Nimai, Zahid, Rupenjit, etc. from V.V.M., my class-mates Amitabh, Anshuman,etc. from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hinoo and my class-mate Rajesh from J.N. College. I also wish to mention here the names of my class-mate Joydeep, Somnath, Bappa, Ankit, etc. from B.E.S.U, Shibpur. We friends used to visit the Lord JaganNath Temple and the fair which accompanies the Chariot Festival, the Dhurwa Dam, the Ranchi Airport(cycle races were held on the tarmac), the erstwhile stadium at Sector-III, the complex of ponds, the R&D and MECON Township, Tipudana, Ranchi Hill, Kanke Dam, Tagore Hill, etc. Live was lived at hilt brimming with enjoyment and that's the way it has to be. I cannot and ought not to forget you Ranchi. Life has changed now-a-days.
