Jeukjodang (Hall) a simple and well-proportioned building, burned in 1904 and rebuilt later in the year, is not large for a royal living quarters. An open wooden floor is provided in the east front of the building.

The terrace is high in relation to the building and a corridor connects this hall with Junmyeongdang hall to the west.
