A fairly bog standard, and totally unremarkable structure built in 1971 and designed as a "buy one get one free" deal from the practice of Richard Seifert; this one complimented the adjacent Elmbank Gardens complex which his firm were also responsible for. A similar deal happened with the Anderston Centre and the Waterloo Street NCP built directly next to it.
