Härnevi Church is one of several in the area that draws visitors owing to its medieval frescoes. These were painted in the second half of the fifteenth century by the acknowledged master Albertus Pictor or by members of his school. The church is also notable for possessing a medieval high altar, which has been preserved. It was built in the fifteenth century.
