A local madhyamik board affiliated school for children, placed in a old Raj era Palace. The superhit bengali movie 'Bhooter Bhobisyot' was shot here. It was the palace of the Kanailal Goswami, the wealthy zamindar of Serampore. It has become a heritage site today and is one of Serampore's main attractions reflecting it's past colonial history. Government help is needed for proper care and restoration of the building.
