  i was born at kp. maloko in 1982. mount maloko is one of my favorite places. during ramadhan, usually after having 'sahur', my friends and i hiked to the top of it. enjoying the fresh air and the very beautiful scenery on it. believe it or not, when it still had its peak, we could see the 'monas' (national monument in jakarta) from the top. but after years, rich people break it into pieces. now, neither i can hike it, i can't even come to the feet. my parents used to have a small shop near the office buildings. it's good for us. but now the shop is gone and my parents moved out the production area. honestly i feel sad, because it's getting smaller and smaller. it doesn't have its peak anymore. sooner, the people of maloko and i will lose it. it is about to be a history. poor maloko. i'm sorry i can't keep you for my kids and my grandkids later.
