Milford is a part of Salisbury to the East of the city centre, the boundary on one side being the River Bourne, separating it from the village of Laverstock. Mainly consisting of fairly large detached privately owned housing it is close the city centre and the shops of the out-of-town shopping area on the A36 Southampton road.
