Museum of Technology - historical outline:
The Warsaw Museum of Technology first opened its doors in the year 1955, when the Palace of Culture and Science hosted a great exhibit "Technological advancement in the service of humanity", assigned especially to the purpose of technical museology.

Our Museum is often considered to be the successor of the older museum, located in Warsaw. This is especially true in the case of Museum of Industry and Agriculture (opened in 1875) and the Museum of Industry and Technology (1929), first located at Krakowskie Przedmieście Street 66 and than moved to Tamka Street 1.

The relics on display at the exhibits were almost completly destroyed during the Second World War.

Currently, the Museum's of Technology exhibits follow and illustrate the development of technology since its historical beginnings to the modern day.
