The highly popular temple for the sculpture of rolling stone inside a lion; there is one stone in the outer prahara sculpture and amazingly three stones inside the lion mouth in the inner prahara sculpture.
There are certain temples very special for certain works as below:
* This temple - Pillar works
* Aavudayar koil near Pattukottai
* Thiruvalanchuzhi for the curved stone roof works
* Darasuram
* Thadikombu near Dindigul
These works are said to be "could not be reproduced and should not be reproduced"
In this temple, one would be mesmerised with the beautiful sculptures in the inner praharam. Amazing is too small a word.
