EBS Ink-Jet Systems Poland Sp. z o.o. designs and manufactures technologically advanced industrial inkjet printers and extended printing systems with the application of Ink-Jet technology. It is also the manufacturer of inks and other consumables for these printers and systems. We offer comprehensive solutions ensuring fast, non-contact marking, labelling and coding of products moving, for example on production lines. Solutions are also available for printing onto rotating or immovable products (with moving print-head systems). Since its foundation in 1983 the firm has been conducting intensive research into Ink-Jet technology, which leads to the manufacture of more and more innovative and competitive products. It is the only manufacturer of this type of equipment in Poland and in the Central European countries. Over a hundred members of the staff have reached international standards in the research, production and servicing of EBS products. In 2005 the firm introduced the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 based quality management system confirmed with a TÜV NORD CERT certificate and it has been using the system since then. EBS printers and printing systems are successfully exported to several dozen countries worldwide. Many of the firm’s unique solutions have been patented in many countries. Each series of products has its representatives that have been rewarded with Gold Medals at the Poznań International Fair and European Medals awarded by the Business Centre Club (BCC) and the Office of the Committee for European Integration (Polish abbr. UKIE). EBS printers are used in practically all industries for non-contact printing of texts, graphic images, bar codes and 2D codes, for dating, numbering, coding and printing of data transferred from computers and external devices such as automatic scales, code readers or instruments. The non-contact method of printing is designed for making firm overprints on objects that vary both in the type of material and in the kind of surface – including uneven and porous surfaces or those containing cavities or extruding parts. The print heads of our printers or printing systems can produce overprints in a variety of heights: • 1.5 to15 mm – with small character printer series (EBS-6200, EBS-7100), • 5 to about 230 mm and from 5 to 128 independent dots – with large character printer series (EBS-1500, EBS-230, EBS-250), • up to 72 mm with the use of from 1 to 510 ink nozzles, or independent dots, with the resolution of 180 dpi (dots per inch) – with a large character printer series (EBS-2500). The EBS printers can print, among other things, on the following: • paper, fabric, natural material and plastic, metal, glass and ceramic products, wood and wood-like products, leather and leatherette, construction materials and also on a variety of derivatives of the above mentioned, • food products and pharmaceuticals (also directly on them), • raw-materials, pre-fabricated materials, semi-products and finished products, • objects with finite sizes and those manufactured in continuous processes such as cables, pipes, insulation wrapping and others. A good example of how innovative the EBS printers are is the HANDJET® EBS®250 printer. It is a portable, hand-operated, ultra-compact and light ink-jet printer that is equipped with a small print head, battery power supply and wireless control. It is the only printer of this type in the world that has been in the market for several years and has seen no competing product. This pistol-shaped unique printer weighting only 980 grams was created for the users who value the freedom of marking, coding and labelling of their products in all possible environments and at any time most. The printer has been gaining wider and wider fields of application. With its patented printing technology, the HANDJET® replaces antiquated hand-operated coding devices (such as duplicating stencils, stamps and roller coding machines).
