The Jazz Museum at Strömsholm was established in 1999. It is the only museum of its kind in Europe, and one of only a few in the world. The museum contains more than seven and a half thousand items of jazz memorablilia, including more than 1500 donated by pianist Charlie Norman. The museum hosts a large number of concerts and jazz events throughout the year. It also has a fine restaurant which serves food influnced by the creole and cajun cuisines of Louisiana.
