Galleri Astley is a world class art gallery that attracts more than one hundred thousand visitors each year. It also contains a museum, that contains changing exhibtions from the gallery’s own collections and works on loan. There is a sculpture park which features an authentic Haida totem pole. There are permanent exhibits from established artists such as Ernst Neizvestny. The gallery hosts musical events, especially in the field of jazz. It has a cafe that serves fine homemade food.
